Abseiling - Natural Surfaces
Guide Single Pitch

An outdoor activity, consisting of a controlled descent of a rope which has been fixed to a natural (non-man made) structure at the top of the descent. The activity is often used to descend from a steep wall or cliff. In this activity, the descents would involve distances of no greater than one rope length, or "pitch".

Units provide credit towards Cert III in Outdoor Recreation (SIS30410)
Course Duration:
Maximum of 6 months from commencement
Entry Requirment:
HSC (year 12) or a mature background
