Mountain Biking
Guide - Intermediate Environment

An outdoor activity, consisting of riding a man powered cycle on an all day tour, in an "off road" environment. An "off road" environment may include: bush or mountain tracks, away from paved or public roads. The activity requires the ability to plan the event and follow a correct or satisfactory course along a route. Intermdiate environment includes natural bush areas where where there has been very little man made modification to the area where the cycling takes place and there are no easily seen tracks to follow.
Career Pathway:
Units provide credit towards Cert IV in Outdoor Recreation (SIS40310)
Course Duration:
Maximum of 6 months from commencement
Entry Requirment:
HSC (year 12) or a mature background

HLTFA301B Apply First Aid is a pre-requisite for all courses

SISOOPS305A Provide First Aid in a remote location (remote/wilderness first aid)
